This policy covers the Monument Mortgages Calculator mobile app for Android and iOS, published by Monument Mortgages (monu.ca).
The Short Version
The app collects no personal information. Everything you type stays on your phone.
What the App Does With Your Information
- All calculations — purchase price, down payment, interest rate, amortization, payment schedules — happen entirely on your device. Nothing you enter is stored by us, transmitted to us, or shared with anyone.
- The app works fully offline and makes no network requests of its own.
- The app contains no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
- The app does not request any device permissions beyond basic internet access, and does not access your contacts, location, camera, photos, or files.
Links That Leave the App
Two buttons open things outside the app, only when you tap them:
- Get In Contact opens a contact form (hosted by Typeform) in your phone's web browser. Anything you submit there is provided by you directly to Monument Mortgages. Typeform's own privacy policy applies to the form service.
- The phone number opens your phone's dialer. No call is placed until you place it.
Children
The app is a general-audience financial tool and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version of the app changes any of the above, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date revised.
